Welcome to Woodfin Elementary School! Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website. Throughout the website and the building you will see at Woodfin, we are a family of learners.
A product of Buncombe County Schools myself, I am a graduate of Enka High School. After high school, I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Masters in Elementary Education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels! Additionally, I earned an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Western Carolina University.
As a BCS employee, I began serving our students in 1998. Throughout my career as an educator I have served as a Title I teacher, an elementary classroom teacher in 4th and 5th grade, and as an assistant principal. For the last 5 years I have been a principal, previously serving at Black Mountain Elementary before moving to Woodfin this summer.
Our students receive their best possible education when we - teachers, administrators, families, and our community - work together as a team. Together we can ensure that each of our students learns and grows to their fullest potential.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns and/or celebrations.
Working Together for Woodfin,
