The PSAT- NMSQT (National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be given at North Buncombe High School on Tuesday, October 28th at 8:00AM. This computer-based test will be given during the school day, so students will be responsible for missed work.
This test is mostly directed to sophomores and juniors who are interested in practicing for the SAT, as well as the possibility of qualifying for a national merit scholarship.
Sign ups will open on Tuesday, September 2nd and run through Friday September 5th.
Cost is $20, cash or check (made out to NBHS), and can be brought to Ms. Graham in the Counseling office.
There are 75 spots available. Sign up is not considered complete until payment is made.
