Thank you for visiting my webpage. My name is Amy Clouse, and I am currently teaching 4th grade, but I have experience in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd as well. It is hard to believe, but this will be my fourteenth year teaching here at Woodfin Elementary School! I have been here for my entire teaching career, and I feel honored to say that. Woodfin Elementary is a special school in so many ways. It is a community school that embraces each and every student in a loving, and compassionate school setting.
I am originally from Western Virginia, so the mountains have always been my heart. I moved to the area to attend college about 20 years ago and have been here since. I love living in Western, NC with my husband and 10 year old son. We enjoy anything outdoors- camping, hiking, canoeing, and bike riding. We also appreciate the cultural and musical experiences that this region has to offer.
