Woodfin Elementary School Family Engagement Policy

2019-2020

At Woodfin Elementary School, we will follow all Federal laws and guidelines each year. An annual meeting will be held to inform all families about Title I and their right to be involved. Family meetings and conferences will be scheduled at flexible times. Families will be involved in planning and reviewing our family engagement policy and School Improvement Plan. Information about our curriculum, assessments, and proficiency levels will be provided to families in a timely manner, and assistance in understanding these topics will be given. 

        Each year, families, teachers, and students will read and sign individual Home School Compacts. We will provide families with materials and training to help their children achieve, and we will build our family engagement by educating staff members on the value of family engagement and how to best foster the support of families.
